PORTERFIELDKIDSMINISTRY

Terrific Tuesday

1st-4th Grades

Children are picked up from school and brought to the church! We have snacks and some group play time to run off some of that energy! Students are invited to work on homework in the homework room. Then we have a group lesson lead by our children’s director, Caren Dilts. After our lesson we spilt up into groups and have small group games, activities and crafts based on our Bible lesson. Pick up begins at 5 p.m. at the church.

Please note that our Medical Release forms must be signed by a Notary. We have a Notary on staff who can assist you when you bring in your forms and payment. We’re happy to answer any questions you may have! Please contact Caren Dilts - you’ll find her contact information on the registration forms.

Investing in our future

Thank you for your interest in our ministry. Porterfield Kids serves children from Kindergarten – 5th grade. We take our role in your child’s life and the life of your family very seriously. It’s an honor to partner with you in the spiritual development of your child. Our desire is to help guide your children to put their faith in Jesus, help them learn more about who God is and how He wants them to live. By the time our children move to middle school we want them to be confident of three basic truths:

I NEED TO MAKE THE WISE CHOICE

I CAN TRUST GOD NO MATTER WHAT

I SHOULD TREAT OTHERS THE WAY I WANT TO BE TREATED

  • We meet each Sunday at 10am for Sunday School upstairs on the Children’s Hall.
  • We have after school programs for 1st – 5th graders. Scroll down for more information and registration forms for Terrific Tuesday (1st – 4th) and FFGO – For Fifth Graders Only.

Check In

We ask first time guests to fill out a visitor tag with the following information: child’s name, parent name and contact number, age and allergies. You’ll receive a numbered tag that you’ll present when you pick your child up. Regular attenders or members have their information entered into our Check-In system. Once entered into out system, you’re provided with a key tag for quick access to our system or information can be added manually at one of our many check-in stations. Once information is entered a child sticker and parent/guardian badge will print out. Children must wear their sticker and parents must present the parent/guardian badge when they pick the child up. Thank you for your understanding as we have these systems in place to protect your children.
