In this class, we will see that the world needed Christmas, God needed Christmas, and WE still need Christmas - but maybe not the for the reason you think. This three-part series will be taught by Wesley Marshall in the Ministry Center Annex following the 9:15 service.


CONTEMPORARY CHRISTMAS PROGRAM

Sunday, Dec. 10, 6 p.m., Ministry Center

Featuring the Worship Band and a Carol Sing


“THE POWER OF THE KING” CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS PROGRAM

Wednesday, Dec. 13, 6:15 p.m., Sanctuary

A birthday party for Baby Jesus will follow the program.


CANDLELIGHTING SERVICES

Sunday, Dec. 17, 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., Sanctuary

Featuring the Porterfield Music Ministry accompanied by the Albany Symphony Orchestra, presenting a traditional service of lessons and carols and the collection ‘O Holy Night’ arranged by John Rutter


CHRISTMAS EVE WORSHIP SERVICES

Sunday, Dec. 24, in the Sanctuary

5 p.m. (designed for families with young children) 

7 p.m. (traditional service) The Sacrament of Holy Communion will be served at both services.


NOTE ABOUT SERVICES

We will have only one morning worship service at 10:30 a.m. on the following days - December 24 and 31.
